Sri Lankan GCE Advanced Level:
Successful completion of the Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level with a minimum of 3 “S” grades.
United Kingdom International Advanced Level:
Successful completion of International Advanced Level (A2) from a UK examination authority (Cambridge, Edexcel, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 “E” grades.
Successful completion of Pearson Level 3 Foundation Diploma
Any other university foundation program accepted by La Trobe University
A minimum of a “C” grade in English for Sri Lankan or United Kingdom, Ordinary Level or Advanced Level examination is required.
While IELTS scores are the primary measure of English proficiency, La Trobe University may accept other English tests that are equivalent to the required IELTS score for your course. Below are the minimum accepted scores for various English proficiency tests:

Students must provide evidence of all original result certificates issued by the Department of Examination or relevant authority. Students with pending A Level results may apply by providing the statement of entry, but students must ensure they meet the minimum academic requirements for each course as specified above.
Tuition Fees
At La Trobe University Colombo, we are committed to providing transparent and competitive tuition fees for our diploma programs. Students progressing to La Trobe University in Australia are also eligible for additional international scholarships, subject to the University’s terms and conditions.
